Beanstack Summer Challenge AnnouncementGreetings Parents and Guardians,
Encouraging children to read is critical to helping them stay on track, retain information, build literacy over the summer break, and also grow in knowledge and critical thinking skills for the coming school year. To keep reading going over the break, ensure that your child picks one of the books suggested for his/her upcoming grade level from the Bay Creek Summer Reading List and completes the Bay Creek Beanstack Summer Reading Challenge, which includes 15 fun activities to go with their selected summer book. To log into Beanstack, the students will have to use their student number and 4-digit birthday (2-digit month; 2-digit day). The reading challenge will end on Monday, July 31st. Here’s to summer reading. Fill up your glass with lemonade, sit awhile, read, and enjoy!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Mona Pop, Ed.S.
