I love helping students communicate as a Pre-K Speech Language Pathologist at Nesbit Elementary School! I have been working at Nesbit for the past 2 years. Before that, I worked as SLP in a New York City. I earned my Bachelor's of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and my Master's of Science in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from New York University. I love working with my students to help them develop their communication skills and confidence in themselves! My favorite picture book is Giraffes Can't Dance; not only does it have beautiful pictures and rhythm but also a sweet and encouraging message. When I'm not working, I enjoy hiking with my husband and pup!

I am excited to start my 8th year at Nesbit and my 18th year with Gwinnett County Public Schools. I am married to my wonderful husband and have two lovable sons and a very vivacious and entertaining daughter. My educational background includes an elementary education degree from Erskine College in South Carolina and a speech-language pathology masters of education degree from Georgia State University. Outside of learning about new things in speech pathology, I love spending time with family and friends, being creative with paper crafts, traveling, and watching some of my favorite movies and tv shows.
