Laura Panzer (1st, 3rd, & 5th)

Welcome to the Counselor’s Corner Knights😊 I am so excited to be serving the 1st, 3rd, and 5^th grade students this year at Simonton Elementary. I obtained a master’s degree in School Counseling from Mercer University and this will be my fourth year as a school counselor. Previously, I was a middle school math teacher for 6 years in Gwinnett County.

I have been married for seven years and have two amazing children, Lacey (4) & Luke (2). My interests outside of work include spending time with my family, traveling, and shopping. Also, I love to read books and watch my favorite shows on Netflix.

I look forward to supporting the students, parents, and the Simonton Staff with anything they need.

Chandra Williams (K, 2nd, & 4th)

Welcome to the Counselor's Corner! I’m excited to serve as the School Counselor for Kindergarten, 2^nd, and 4^th grades. This is my 19^th year as a School Counselor. I received my Master’s degree in Counselor Education from Georgia Southern University and a Specialist’s degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of West Georgia.  

I love spending time with my family, friends, and two dogs – Jaddi and Queen. I also enjoy traveling, listening to music, and watching scary movies.  

I look forward to supporting the Simonton family as we “Learn, Lead, and Excel.”
