Who are the coaches?

The coaches are: Mrs. Steimer (Media Specialist), Ms. Elder (7ELA), and Mr. Tyler (8SS), and Mrs. Buckley (Media Clerk).

How many books will I have to read?

The Readers Rally Book List for Middle Schools (see below) consists of 10 fiction books.
**Students who wish to be on the county competition team should read all 10 books by November. Students wishing to just participate in the club may read the books that interest them.**

Do I have to write book questions?
Student members are expected to write 30-50 questions for at least one book to help us play Team Trivia. Questions should be written in Quizlet and shared with Mrs. Steimer at maile.steimer@gcpsk12.org. Questions should be based on characters and events in the books and should be easy to answer with a few words or a brief explanation.

What will we do during Readers Rally meetings?

We will be playing games (Book Trivia, Pictionary, etc), making book trailers, and playing team trivia with questions based on the books.

What is the cost involved with Readers Rally?

There is no required cost at this time. Students going to the county competition are asked to purchase a team Tshirt which usually costs about $20.
