The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has granted additional waiver extensions that allow school districts to offer both breakfast and lunch on school days to all Gwinnett children, ages 18 and younger, at no charge through the end of the school year*, including children who are not school-aged and children who are not GCPS students. (Note that GCPS does not provide meals on weekends or on scheduled student holidays.) These meals are provided at no cost to the individual through the federal School Nutrition Program.

I am Dr. Kelly Scarborough, and I have the great honor of being the principal of Rockbridge Elementary School. Rockbridge Elementary is an outstanding school that has benefited from strong leadership and caring, dedicated teachers. We as a staff believe in our students and community, and we are committed to ensuring our students reach their academic potential.
As a school, we want to share with you our mission statement developed around three foundations; to nurture, collaborate and own. “We develop scholars, leaders, and the community by supporting and valuing one another. We work together to create an atmosphere of high expectations and success for all. We own our attitudes and actions to accomplish the work that must be done.” This statement speaks volumes about our students, staff, parents, and community. We look forward to seeing our mission come to life each and every day.
As a school, we look forward to working together to ensure that every child at Rockbridge receives a solid foundation on which to build future learning. We believe in a strong partnership between school and home. As partners working together, we can ensure that our students face a future full of promise.
