  • Staff, students, parents, and Gwinnett community members are invited to provide input on proposed instructional resources for select courses in Language Arts, Social Studies, Career and Technical Education, and Foreign Language/ Dual Language Immersion. Before adopting instructional resources for classroom use, GCPS undergoes an extensive selection process. Multiple committees involving various stakeholder groups were convened to select resources to consider for adoption. The resources were reviewed for alignment with the school system’s Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS) curriculum as well as strength of instructional strategies, freedom from sensitivity or bias, and diverse representation. Data from the public review and classroom pilots will be considered in making adoption recommendations to the Board of Education in early 2022. This year’s public review opportunity is now open, from Oct. 1 through Oct. 31. To begin the review, please visit this link. Thank you for your interest.
