  • Elementary AKS Spotlight - Family Night

    During this session, GCPS families of students in grades K - 5 will receive information about the curriculum being taught in the classroom and learn strategies and activities to support your children at home.

    ELA: What is the science of reading and how to support at home
    Math: First semester activities to support the new AKS at home
    Science: Birth – 5 grade fair support
    Social Studies: K- 5 Personal Finance

    Kindergarteners are working on reading color words. Let's come together as a school and help them see these colors as they are learning them. If you would like to participate, below is the schedule for which color they are practicing each day. You can wear a shirt, pants, socks, shoes, or anything else school-appropriate that matches the color of the day! Thank you for helping to make learning fun!
