Georgia Milestones Assessment
Students in grades 3-5 will take the Georgia Milestones Assessment beginning in April. This state assessment measures how well students have learned knowledge and skills in the core areas of language arts, mathematics, and science (grade 5 only). Schools are required to follow the district-established testing schedule. Digital learners must report to school to take the Milestones assessment on the days their grade level is testing. Please refer to the calendar below for testing dates.
As a valued member in your local school community, you can provide information and feedback that helps school leaders make important decisions that affect students and schools. Therefore, Gwinnett County Public Schools would like to ask for your assistance in the crucial process of selecting a principal to replace Mr. Mike Bender. The Gwinnett County Board of Education and Superintendent Calvin J. Watts would appreciate your response to a web-based Principal Selection Survey. This survey will help school system leaders gather input regarding the selection of the new principal of Woodward Mill Elementary School.
You may access the on-line survey at the following web address:
The survey will be accessible beginning today.
Please complete the survey at your earliest convenience so that your input can be used in decision making. Your time and response to this survey is most appreciated.

2022 Special Education Parent Survey
As a means of improving results for children with disabilities, the Georgia Department of Education is required to survey parents of students receiving special education services. All parents with a student receiving services in Gwinnett County are able to participate in this year's survey process. This is an opportunity for your voice to be heard. The feedback you share will help guide local schools' efforts to improve Special Education services and results for children and families.
The survey is available on-line and can be accessed on the Georgia Department of Education website. You may click on the link provided below to complete the survey. Survey responses must be submitted by May 31, 2022.
