2026 Area Board and Town Hall Meetings
Gwinnett County Board of Education
The 2026 Area Board Meetings are a great opportunity for families, students, staff, and community members to connect with Gwinnett County Public Schools leadership.
We invite you to join us to meet your Board of Education representative and help welcome our new superintendent, Dr. Alexandra Estrella. You’ll have the opportunity to get to know Dr. Estrella and hear more about her background and leadership experience.
Your voice matters. Participants may submit questions in advance or during the meeting using an online question system, and district leaders will respond to questions throughout the event. Interim Superintendent Dr. Al Taylor will also be present to support the conversation.
All meetings are open to the public, and you’re welcome to attend the event that best fits your schedule. We
encourage you to join your district meeting to hear information most relevant to your community and connect
with others in your area. All meetings will begin at 6 p.m.
If you’re unable to attend in person, all meetings will be live-streamed and recorded, with recordings available on
GCPS TV.

Submitting Questions
Participants are invited to submit questions before or during the meeting using the link provided in each event listing.
You may review questions that have already been submitted and select those you would most like to see addressed. This helps us understand the topics of greatest interest to attendees.
Due to time constraints, not all questions may be answered. During the Q&A portion of the meeting, we will prioritize questions that reflect the highest level of interest.
If you have questions or need additional information about the Area Board Meetings, please email myschoolboard@gcpsk12.org.
These meetings are designed to share information and provide opportunities to engage with district leadership. No official business will be conducted during the Area Board Meetings.
