Board Policies

Policy Review Process

Gwinnett County Public Schools has an established process for reviewing and revising, where applicable, board policies and procedures to ensure that the Board and school district are in compliance with and that policies reflect changes to state legislation and state board rules and regulations. Policy BCAB calls for the Gwinnett County Board of Education to annually review and reaffirm the district's Board policies. In addition, Policy BD requires the Board to maintain current written policies that consistent with Board action and administrative decision, requiring the Board to review and update its policies on a continuing basis. This policy also addresses the development, adoption, and dissemination of school district policies.

The following policies were tabled at the last regular business meeting of the Gwinnett County Board of Education. Citizens may provide input on the proposed policy revisions by emailing MySchoolBoard@gcpsk12.org.
