FY2026 Budget Development Survey
Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) refers to each year's budget as an "Investment Plan" for its students, employees, and community. The conservative approach to budgeting has enabled the district to achieve greater financial security and build a pathway forward to achieving long-term goals while maintaining a balanced budget and delivering on the promises GCPS has made to its stakeholders. Each year, GCPS engages in a 10-month budget process that involves staff, students, and citizens.
The purpose of the FY2026 Budget Development Survey is to inform decisions around funding priorities in School Year 2025-26. GCPS is committed to our core business of teaching with an emphasis on learning. Understanding our community’s feedback on the district’s general budget plays an important role in positioning the district optimally for success.
Before the Board of Education adopts the 2025-26 school year budget, GCPS will hold numerous public hearings to engage students, families, staff, and community members; the FY2026 Budget Development Survey is the first opportunity for the community to provide input. The survey is available in multiple languages and consists of four short questions.
