Capital Plan 2031

Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) is committed to ensuring our students have safe, modern, and well-equipped schools where they can learn, grow, and thrive. The Capital Plan 2031 outlines investments in school buildings, safety systems, classroom technology, buses, and learning materials over the next five years.
This plan is tied to the continuation of the Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (E-SPLOST), which will be on the ballot for voters on November 4, 2025. Since 1997, for nearly 30 years, Gwinnett voters have supported students and schools by approving E-SPLOST—an investment that continues to shape safe, modern, and inspiring learning environments.
As we approach the November vote, it’s important for our families, staff, and community to understand what the E-SPLOST decision means for our schools. We’re not here to tell anyone how to vote—but we do want to share how valuable this one-cent sales tax has been for GCPS and what it continues to make possible for all our students.
