The Deputy Superintendent of Academic Services plays a critical role in supporting the district’s core mission of teaching and learning.

The Deputy Superintendent works with the Interim Superintendent to ensure alignment between instructional priorities and the strategic direction of Gwinnett County Public Schools. Working closely with the Superintendent and other district leaders, the Deputy Superintendent provides guidance and oversight to ensure all students have access to rigorous, high-quality educational opportunities that prepare them for success in college, career, and life.

Through a focus on excellence, equity, and innovation, the Deputy Superintendent of Academic Services helps shape the educational experience for every student in Gwinnett County Public Schools.
