Department of Federal Programs
The Department of Federal Programs is dedicated to optimizing federal funds to support district and school improvement initiatives. These funds are allocated to various programs, including 78 Title I schools, Multilingual Learner programs, Migrant and Immigrant programs, Equitable Services, and district-wide academic interventions and supports. Additionally, the department promotes family and community engagement initiatives throughout the district.
The department is organized into three main offices:
The Office of Federal Programs
- Focuses on the administration and management of federal funds to enhance educational opportunities.
The Office of Budget and Compliance
- Ensures the proper allocation of federal funds and compliance with regulatory requirements to meet educational goals.
The Office of Family Engagement
- Works to foster strong relationships between families, communities, and schools to support student success.
This structure allows the department to effectively manage resources and support a wide range of educational and community initiatives.
