The Equity Audit and Equity Study examine different aspects of equity and work together to provide a complete picture of how the district can improve outcomes and opportunities for all students.

The Equity Audit will examine resource allocation in the areas of time, staff, and money to unlock better, more equitable learning experiences for all students.

The Equity Study will focus on academic opportunity and application of MTSS for each and every student, reviewing and expanding on the goals of the 2020 equity audit. Together, these efforts help the district understand both what students need and how resources can best be aligned to meet those needs, creating a stronger foundation for student success.

The Superintendent and district leadership collaborated to ensure that the Equity Study participants reflected a broad representation of staff, students, and community members. There will be additional opportunities for staff and community members to share their insights and feedback through surveys this fall. 

The Superintendent and the Gwinnett County Board of Education appreciate each participant's investment of time in this process. Each session will be moderated by a facilitator and last one (1) hour.

We appreciate your interest in sharing your feedback and perspectives. There will be additional opportunities throughout the Superintendent's Listening and Learning Tour for individuals to provide input, even if they are unable to attend a listening session.
