Our Blueprint in Action 2025-26

Some may race on tracks or in cars, but two schools from the North Gwinnett Cluster are hosting a race through reading.

 November is Georgia Apply to College Month, and Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) is helping students take advantage of the resources available to them.

Each year, 1st-grade students at Freeman’s Mill Elementary School start with an instructional module about tools and how they help make work easier.

GCPS students in the Audio & Video Technology & Film (AVTF) CTAE pathway practice advanced technical skills on a professional-grade film set at Assembly Studios. This opportunity was made possible in collaboration with community partners RE:IMAGINE and the Georgia Film Academy.

At Meadowcreek High School, the media center is more than just a place to check out books and read; it’s a vibrant space where students develop into leaders and collaborate in school community outreach.  

Exciting changes are brewing for the Five-Star Generals at Shiloh High School! Discover how Shiloh’s PBIS PRIDE Matrix is positively impacting campus culture—fostering a safe, celebratory environment, boosting student engagement, and empowering the next generation of leaders.

With Play 2 Learn On the Go!, early-learning specialists partner with GCPS Transportation to take the Play 2 Learn classroom experience to communities across the county.

Watch as Corley Elementary kindergarten students take their first steps into a world of reading and discovery through library orientation. This experience fosters curiosity, builds a love for learning, and lays the foundation for academic excellence.

Preparing for college can be daunting for students and their families, but there are ways to ensure a seamless preparation process.

 At Maxwell High School of Technology, students have access to programs that prepare them to enter the service industry or a post-secondary institution.
