  • find the College and Career Room?

    The College and Career Room is YOUR room in the Counseling Office.
    It is there for you to research colleges, vocational and technical schools, careers and scholarships. 
    Through research materials, catalogs, dvd's, software programs, and internet access, you will be able
    to explore all your options. You can even pick up SAT and ACT registration packets there.

    send electronic transcripts through GAfutures?

    Current Students: Go to and click “create an account”. Complete all fields (name, birth date, social security number, account name,password, etc.) Once account is created, go to the “college planning” tab to order transcripts. Electronic transcripts are available for colleges in the State of Georgia only.

    2017 Graduates and prior: 
    This can no longer be done online. Contact the Counseling Office.

    send a paper transcript?

    It is the responsibility of each student to mail his/her transcripts.
    Seniors may now pay for transcripts on MyPaymentsPlus.  
    The cost for transcripts is $5.00 per copy. Students may pick up the copy of their transcript in the college and career room (counseling office/A1) after completing payment on MPP.  Please allow 1-2 school days for the counseling office to process your request. Transcript Payments can be made in MPP by selecting "Make a payment-->School Fees-->Transcript"

  • Seniors and Senior Parents:
    Need a counselor recommendation for college?

    Complete Student and Parent Brag Sheets (linked below) to request one from your assigned counselor.

    It is encouraged that both Student and Parent Brag Sheets are completed in order for the counselor to write the most comprehensive letter of recommendation.

    Note: Your counselor needs 2 weeks (10 school days) to complete a letter of recommendation. Plan accordingly.

    If you need a teacher recommendation, please complete this brag sheet and return it to your teacher.

  • All Juniors and Seniors will receive a review of graduation requirements and discuss post-secondary options with counselors in their guided study.

    Parents are welcome to make an appointment at any point in the school year to explore college and career planning with their child's counselor.
