MixxedFit® is a people-inspired fitness program that combines explosive dance movements with bodyweight toning.

SAC consists of students in grades 6 -8. All students are eligible toapply--HR representatives are chosen in August.
Student ambassadors are selected through an application process.Ambassadors serve a student leaders in the school.

Read a selection of 15 books from the 2018 Georgia Children's Book Award nominees, and compete against other GCPS Middle Schools in the Readers Rally Competition.

Odyssey of the Mind
Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. Team members apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics.
InVenture Challenge Our mission
Our mission is to develop the next generation of engineers and entrepreneurs by making invention education accessible to all students and teachers in Georgia.The InVenture Prize at Georgia Tech is the largest undergraduate invention competition in the United States. Televised live on Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB), teams of Georgia Tech students present their comprehensive invention showcasing both the engineer and the entrepreneur.
Open to all students in the afternoon during the fall and spring.

The Green Team coorindates projects around the school to reduce, reuse, and recycle.

Open to all students at all three grade levels. Try outs are held in the fall.
Cross Country/Running Club
Students will be able to attend different 5K races to represent CMS.Students will be required to sign both an academic and behavior contract to participate.
