I received my B.S. in Sport Management from Liberty University and my M.Ed. in School Counseling from Albany State University. I joined the Collins Hill Counseling Team in 2020, and I'm honored to be an Eagle. Before I became a school counselor, I worked at Main Event Entertainment as an Event Coordinator for 2 years. I’m passionate about bringing the best out of students, and helping guide them to a successful future. My name is Beata Lech and I am the counseling department chair. I was born and raised in Poland and moved to the United States at the age of 16. I speak English, Polish, and conversational Spanish. I live in Decatur with my husband Jesse and our cat, Baba. I have been a Department Chair since 2017. I've served on various county and CHHS committies: CHHS Advisement Committee (2014-15), CHHS Advisory Council Committee (2013-present), GCPS High School Counseling Steering Committee (2018-2019), GCPS Peer Leadership Committee (2015-current). I enjoy continuing my education in the areas of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfullness-Based Cognitive Therapy, College Counseling, Peer Leadership, & Developing school-wide wellness practices for students and staff. I love travelling and learning about different cultures. My hobbies include running, yoga, reading books, film, hiking, and music. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. My name is Sandi Brown, and I am the counselor for students whose last names start with Gr-La. I also work with our athletes on the counseling side of NCAA. I received a Bachelor's in Business Administration from South Carolina State University, a Master's in Counseling Education from South Carolina State University, and a Specialist in Educational Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University. I've been in the counseling profession for over 25 years, with my first job being in Higher Education. I spent 9 years at Collins Hill High School, 11 years at Rock Springs Elementary School, and have been back at The Hill since 2019! I am married to Eric, and we have one son. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and I love going to sporting events, plays, concerts, movies, traveling, and trying new restaurants. I love it at the Hill!

Mrs. Jennifer Ludewig

My name is Jennifer Ludewig, and I am the counselor for students whose last names start with O-Se. I also work with our Dual Enrollment students. I received my B.S. in Psychology from Ga State and my M.Ed. in School Counseling from UWG. I've been a counselor with CHHS since 2017! Prior to becoming a school counselor, I worked in the hospice industry for 5 years. I'm a proud Georgia native, and I love to cheer on the Braves, Falcons, and Georgia Tech! My husband of 11 years, Matt, works at CHHS as well. Together, we have beautiful 8- and 10-year-old girls. When not at gymnastics practices and competitions with my kids, I love traveling, spending time with family, leading a female high school small group at church, baking, cross-stitching, crocheting, and music/fine arts! Fun fact: I've had five years of classical vocal training, am in my seventh year of contemporary training, and am proudly involved as a worship leader for middle and high school environments at my church. I guess you could say I love working with adolescents! While I'm heavily involved in college planning with Dual Enrollment, I also enjoy helping my students consider ALL post-secondary options. I am passionate about helping students acquire the tools they need to become successful contributors to society. Go Eagles!

I joined the Collins Hill Counseling Team in 2019, and I'm proud to be an Eagle. I'm passionate about helping students navigate life in high school and beyond. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor, with a Bachelor's in Public Administration from Georgia College, a Master's from The University of Georgia, a Master's in Educational Leadership from Georgia College, and a Specialist degree in Teaching & Learning from Piedmont. Hello! My name is Kimberly Geter, and I am excited to join Collins Hill High School as the College and Career Specialist. I enjoy working with students, especially with planning and navigating the future. Originally from North Carolina, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication Students and Afro-American Studies from North Carolina at Chapel Hill along with a Master's in Education, School Counseling from Salem College in Winston-Salem, NC. I have experience working with students in secondary and post-secondary education settings and most recently served as an academic advisor for exploratory students. In this role, I worked closely with first- and second-year college students, helping them with figuring out their major. I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, as well as arts and crafts. Go Eagles!
