Bus Riders
GCPS provides bus transportation for students who live within Walnut Grove's attendance zone. School transportation is a privilege extended by the Board of Education; it is not a right. All students are required to obey bus conduct rules posted on each bus. These rules are to protect the safety and well-being of all students. Failure to observe these rules can result in suspension of bus privileges.
A transportation form can be found here.

Car Riders
In addition to bus transportation, parents may choose to transport their child to school daily.
Our car rider lane is located on the north side of the school.
Student drop off begins at 8:20 am each morning and pick up begins at 3:20pm in the same location. -
Childcare
Several childcare providers have transportation to and from Walnut Grove each day. Please view the list of Childcare Providers in the resource section and contact them to determine if transportation is provided.

Transportation Changes
Home-to-school and school-to-home transportation information for your child is collected through the registration process.
Any change in this plan must be submitted in writing, dated, and signed by the parent or guardian to your child's teacher when your child arrives for the day.
Transportation changes are for a one-day period of time only.
For your child's safety, no changes will be accepted via telephone or email.
