Dear Senior Class of 2021,

    • February 28th:  Last day to pay $160 for senior dues. Dues will increase to $180 after this date. Dues cover cap, gown, tassel, graduation (rental of the arena), diploma, diploma cover, senior t-shirt, yard sign, locker boards, and other senior items. Please pay dues on the Balfour website. Students must pay senior dues (same as purchasing a cap and gown package) to participate in the graduation ceremony.

    • Senior Letters: This is a tradition where you ask family, friends, and any other significant people in the child’s life to write them a letter about how proud they are of them, etc... In the past, letters were collected at school and handed out during senior events. This year, you will need to gather the letters for your student. Please have family and friends send letters directly to your home and find a special time to give these to your student.

    • Senior T-shirts: Senior t-shirts are included in senior dues (senior dues are the same as purchasing a cap and gown package from Balfour). Students were asked to order their t-shirt from our vendor website and it would be shipped directly to your home. Shirts were shipped the week of 2/2/21. If you did NOT order a senior shirt, please contact about getting one of the extras- size choice cannot be guaranteed.

    • Senior yard signs: Yard signs are included in dues, but you must place an order using this form.  Please do not complete the form until you have paid your dues (same as purchasing a cap and gown package from Balfour). • Senior Transcripts

Once you have been accepted and have made the decision where you plan to attend college, you must send them a year-end final transcript. Failure to do so can delay being able to schedule your college classes. Senior year-end final transcripts will be mailed to the colleges at the beginning of June.  All Seniors who will be attending college, technical school, or joining the military will need to request a year-end final transcript be sent to their institutions. There is a $5.00 fee and you must order year-end final transcripts through MyPaymentsPlus.  Questions, please contact Kathy Barker at

  • Locker Boards

Locker boards are GHS tradition where families decorate a locker board in honor of their student. These boards are then hung on the senior’s locker. Due to Covid restrictions, we will be changing this tradition slightly. We will still be offering families a locker board if they wish to decorate one and families can submit a picture of the decorated locker board to a digital format. Locker boards can be viewed digitally. We understand all families may not want to participate in this tradition in a digital format, but we did want to offer the opportunity.

    • Please be sure the locker boards follow Gwinnett County guidelines and pictures are appropriate (no nudity, profanity, alcohol, drugs, etc.).
    • Please include the graduate’s name on the locker board.

Locker board pictures can be submitted to the following Padlet:
