Mission and Vision

The mission of Dacula Middle School Counseling Department is to ensure the highest level of success for every student. All students will have equitable access to the data driven, comprehensive counseling program which provides developmentally appropriate activities that include individual and small group counseling and core curriculum lessons. Using the lenses of social emotional, academic, and post-secondary readiness, school counselors advocate for equal access to challenging course work and enrichment opportunities and offer consultation focused on the whole child. Additionally, the counseling department consistently collaborates with all stakeholders to ensure student success.  

The vision of the school counseling program at Dacula Middle School is that all students possess confidence in the knowledge, skills, behaviors, and beliefs cultivated in the safe and nurturing environment of a world class school system. Students will pursue lifelong learning opportunities, become leaders and advocates in their own communities, and choose the adult lives that bring them joy and pride.
