    Dear Parents and Guardians,

    It is with great excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the newly appointed principal of Sweetwater Middle School. I am thrilled about returning to Sweetwater and look forward to meeting students, staff, parents, and community members in the coming weeks.  We will continue to establish a strong reputation for academic excellence and student engagement.


    I began my career in Gwinnett County Public Schools as a math teacher at  Richards Middle School where I had the opportunity to work in various instructional and leadership roles.  I worked as an Assistant Principal for six years at Sweetwater Middle School and then became Principal at Louise Radloff Middle School. That position has allowed me to serve the community and build lasting relationships with students and parents.


    As I begin to make the transition back to Sweetwater, I want you to know that I am aware of the anticipation that accompanies new leadership within an organization, and my goal is to spend the next couple of months learning about the school and all of the stakeholders. As your new principal, my mission is to unite, motivate and serve the staff, students, parents, and community partners, with a targeted focus on guiding and supporting our staff and students to reach their highest potential, in a safe and nurturing environment. My primary focus is Always kids first! I am committed to uplifting our students and letting them know that they are intelligent, talented, and capable of obtaining success in life!


    I look forward to having a long and rewarding relationship with you and your family. Feel free to stop in and introduce yourself. This is a great day to be part of the Sweetwater Middle School family. Together, we can make a difference!

    Queridos padres y guardianes,

    Es con gran entusiasmo que les escribo esta carta de presentación como el nuevo director de la escuela secundaria Sweetwater. Estoy encantado de regresar a Sweetwater y espero conocer a los estudiantes, el personal, los padres y los miembros de la comunidad en las próximas semanas. Continuaremos estableciendo una sólida reputación por la excelencia académica y el compromiso de los estudiantes.


    Comencé mi carrera en las Escuelas Públicas del Condado de Gwinnett como maestra de matemáticas en Richards Middle School, donde tuve la oportunidad de trabajar en varios roles de instrucción y liderazgo. Trabajé como subdirectora durante seis años en la escuela secundaria Sweetwater y luego me convertí en directora de la escuela secundaria Louise Radloff. Ese puesto me ha permitido servir a la comunidad y construir relaciones duraderas con estudiantes y padres.


    Al comenzar a hacer la transición de regreso a Sweetwater, quiero que sepa que soy consciente de la anticipación que acompaña al nuevo liderazgo dentro de una organización, y mi objetivo es pasar los próximos meses aprendiendo sobre la escuela y todos los partes interesadas. Como su nuevo director, mi misión es unir, motivar y servir al personal, los estudiantes, los padres y los socios de la comunidad, con un enfoque específico en guiar y apoyar a nuestro personal y estudiantes para que alcancen su máximo potencial, en un entorno seguro y enriquecedor. Mi enfoque principal es ¡Siempre los niños primero! ¡Estoy comprometido a animar a nuestros estudiantes y hacerles saber que son inteligentes, talentosos y capaces de obtener éxito en la vida!


    Espero tener una relación larga y gratificante con usted y su familia. Siéntete libre de pasar y presentarte. Este es un gran día para ser parte de la familia de la escuela secundaria Sweetwater. ¡Juntos podemos hacer la diferencia!
