  • My student is reenrolling in Gwinnett County Public Schools

    Reenrolling Students

Students who have previously attended a GCPS school at any point in their academic career already have a student ID number and are considered re-enrolling students.

Parents of re-enrolling students must complete registration using paper forms. Online registration is not an option as it would create a duplicate record of your student in our systems.

You will need to provide the school with copies of the following documents:

    • Student's birth certificate
    • Student's Social Security card
    • Immunization record (Georgia Form 3231)
    • Hearing/Vision/Dental (Georgia Form 3300)

    • Proof of residency in the form of your lease or deed
      • AND a gas, water, or power bill
    • Any special education or gifted eligibility information (as applicable)
    • Report cards or official school transcript
    • Withdrawal form from previous school
    • Discipline records for students enrolling in grades 7 or 8

The following persons are authorized to enroll students:

    • Parent (natural or adoptive)
    • Legal guardian
    • Foster parent approved by a state agency
    • Sponsor for approved International Exchange Program

The person authorized to enroll must present one of the following:

Some Important Notes

  • Trickum is NOT on the Gwinnett County list of permissive transfer schools. Please refer to the GCPS website for a listing of those schools. Parents can determine if their address is in our cluster by calling 678-301-7085 or checking the GCPS website

Rising 6th grade students from Arcado, Camp Creek, Knight and Mountain Park DO NOT need to register.
