The Trickum Media Center is an open, welcoming, learning environment for both students and teachers to enjoy. Our primary mission is to provide resources to meet academic needs, promote enthusiasm and enjoyment of reading, as well as support Gwinnett County's Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS) through literature, research, and collaboration. We support 21st century learning that helps develop literacy skills and lifelong learning.
Our Media Center is open for in-person learners to come with their LA classes, as they are scheduled to come for check-out.
In-person learners may drop off/return their Media Center books to their LA teacher at anytime for faster return/processing. The Media Catalog (called Destiny Discover) is always available to peruse the media collection and even to put books "on hold" that will be delivered to their HR teachers' mailboxes.
Our digital learners may also check-out books from our media collection via the media catalog (Destiny Discover). Digital learners will use this Google Form to check-out books. Students must be signed in with their school account to access the Google Form.
In order to better serve our digital learners and give them more flexibility with the number of days and hours available to pick-up and return books, we will no longer be having book pick-up outside on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We will now have book pick-up and returns everyday Monday - Friday from 10:00 - 2:00 at the front desk. Please have your STUDENT ID card to pick-up your books.
***IMPORTANT: Please do not come before 10:00 or after 2:00 to pick-up or return books due to the school buses arriving and space needed. THANK YOU!
