Certificates of Achievement, Academic Letters, and Departmental Awards

  • On Monday, April 26, Brookwood will host a dessert reception and certificate/letter pickup in the Gold Gym during lunchtime for all recognized students. 

    Please use this link to RSVP for the event if you wish for your child to receive a special treat during his/her respective lunch period.

    Students who are unable to attend the reception may pick up their certificates and accompanying letters/pins (if applicable) at the Gold Gym Lobby during school hours beginning April 27.

    • Freshman who have earned at least a 90.0 overall average of all courses taken in the Fall Semester of the current year while attending Brookwood High School will receive an Academic Certificate of Achievement.
    • Beginning the Spring Semester of the sophomore year, students who meet the following requirements are eligible for an Academic Letter each year. The student must have been enrolled in and have completed three consecutive semesters at Brookwood High School and must have earned a minimum 90.0 overall cumulative numeric grade average of all courses taken for high school credit as of the last completed semester. The 90.0 overall average determination is figured without rounding of scores. 
    • Recipients of Departmental Awards are recognized for encompassing excellence in the classroom. For these awards, one student is nominated for each level of the respective academic area.


    Grade-level presentations include pre-recorded messages from Brookwood Principal Mr. Ford, our 2021 Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Kaiser, and recently named STAR Teacher of the Year, Mr. Dimsdale.
