Algebra 2 Academic Safety Nets
Classroom Grades
- Quick Checks can be taken two times, the higher grade will go in the gradebook.
- Summative grades can also replace a Quick Check grade if they score higher.
Summative (Test) Grades
Students can re-take a test covering a topic once they have made sure that:
- All of their practice/homework assignments are complete
- They have completed the Delta Math Remediation
- These will have deadlines that will be communicated ahead of time
Teacher help and re-take times available after school Tuesday - Thursday.
- A list of Algebra 2 teacher’s room numbers will be posted.
End-Zone Peer Tutoring available in the media center after school.

Geometry Academic Safety Nets
Teacher Tutoring 2:15 -3:00
Tuesdays: Jensen B103
Wednesdays: Diem 203 and Downs B112 2:15- 3:00
Thursday: Benson B105: 2:20-3:15
Bolt- mornings tutor one day.
Hargrave: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. After school
Joiner: during Lunch appointment based- or by after school appointment.
Test Corrections:
- Students will review Delta math daily practice prior to test corrections and meet with a teacher in the team afterschool for test correction/reassessment.
- Tests replace quizzes for mastery of AKS .

Endzone- Peer Tutoring (Possibly for AP Calc & regular Calculus)
- Tuesdays at 2:30-4:30 in the Media Center
Tutoring before or after school by appointment
Test Review/Practice and key provided before each cumulative test
Supplemental Delta Math or AP Classroom assignments given for extra practice

Pre Calculus Academic Safety Nets
AKS Summative Assessment- Topic Tests
- Students have an opportunity to demonstrate higher levels of mastering the AKS on one Summative Assessment retake (Topic Test Retake). They must complete test corrections during after hours (before/after school or during lunch) in order to be eligible for test retake. Additionally, the district interim and final grade will replace all formative and summative assessment. We will also be giving two parts of the performance final each quarter and be using this for evidence of mastery of AKS topics that are covered on these exams.

Teacher Extra Help-”After Hours”
- Tuesdays-Thursdays after school and the weekly schedule is posted on each Precalculus Teachers Eclass course page. QR code for the schedule is also posted outside each Precalculus teacher’s door.
Topic Quiz Remediation
- If a student completes their assignment “Topic Assignment” and shows proficiency on the assignment before the topic test, then the topic test score can replace their topic quiz grade if they show a higher level of mastery.
