Meet the Author with Jerdine Nolen
Jerdine Nolen shares insights about her latest book, On Her Wings, a non-fiction picture book about the early life and legacy of groundbreaking American writer Toni Morrison. Students participate via zoom with Ms. Nolen as she discusses some of her other award-winning fiction books such as Freedom Bird, Thunder Rose and Hewitt Anderson’s Great Big Life. A short video on “tips for writing a biography” rounds out the program. (30 minutes)
