Please be patient and visit this site often for updates on the rain. It is our first priority to complete graduation on the field on Wednesday evening! If it is raining when the gates open, the school will be open as we wait for an opening in the weather to proceed. If that opening does not occur, we will keep you updated! The possibilities if we are unable to complete graduation on Wednesday night are as follows:
Thursday 10:00AM in the stadium
Thursday 8:00PM in the stadium
Friday 10:00AM in the stadium
Friday in the gym. Time TBA

- Any senior who missed honors night can see Mrs. Queen to pick up their cords.
- Any senior who paid senior dues by April 23rd, but did not pick up their gown at the picnic, can pick it up in the front office.
MAY 25th Schedule: (Visit the senior website for our live streaming option)
- 9:00AM- a light senior breakfast on the field and receive senior letters
- 9:45AM- Graduation rehearsal. We will practice entering and exiting the field. At that time, each graduate will know on which side of the field he/she will enter. This will help parents as they can sit on that side of the field and see their senior walking by. We will practice walking across the stage and reading each name. If your name is read incorrectly, you will have a chance to meet with the readers after practice to correct their pronunciation of your name. Each Senior will receive their graduation tickets as they cross the stage during this practice!
- 6:30PM- Seniors park in front and behind A/B building and report to their classrooms with their gown on a hanger.
- 8:00PM- Ceremony begins! The ceremony typically lasts about an hour and 40 minutes.
Immediately following the ceremony, students should report to the visitor’s side of the field to pick up their diplomas. When seniors cross the stage, they receive their covers only. Any senior who does not follow the required behavior expectations during the ceremony will not receive their diploma following the ceremony and will need to report to the Principal the following morning.
Any student who chooses not to participate in the graduation ceremony will need to bring $25 cash (exact amount) to the counseling office on Thursday or Friday after the ceremony to pick up their diploma and cover. This can also be collected during summer from the front office during summer hours.
- You can also order anytime online at www.scholasticimages.com or over the phone at (770) 614-9353! We can’t wait to see you!

Save your Google Data!
Attention Seniors!
Your Google Drive account and files will be deleted once you are no longer a GCPS student. There are two possible ways to save your files.
You can use Google Takeout to download your files in an archive that can be uploaded to a personal Google account or used with Microsoft Office apps.
Directions to download your data with Google Takeout
Another option to transfer files to another Google account is:
- Share a folder in your GCPS account as "anyone with the link can view."
- Drop in all of the files you want to keep.
- Get the sharing link for the folder and open it from your personal account.
- Select all of the files (Control+A or Shift+Click), right-click one of the selected files, and choose make a copy.
- Move the copied files out of the shared folder.
Note: The shared folder and the shared files in it will disappear after your account is deleted, so you must make a copy of the files and move them out of the folder before your account is deleted.

FAQ-- 2022
FAQ:
- What do the dues include? Graduation live stream, chairs, stage, senior breakfast, spring fling dinner, fall meeting with breakfast, senior picnic, senior picnic tee (if paid by April 28), diploma, diploma cover, and the cap/gown.
- What if I am not participating in some of the activities? I hope all will participate in everything as it's your SENIOR YEAR; however, I am aware that some may not be able or interested. The complete payment is still required. There is no way to pay senior dues a la carte.
- Can I pay in cash instead of ordering online? Yes. Balfour will be on campus throughout the year and you can bring a check/cash to them on any of those dates. Dates are posted on the website.
- I'm not sure I'll graduate, so I'll just wait and see--If you choose to do this, you'll end up paying the late fee and can not participate in the picnic. Go ahead and pay dues. You can participate in the activities if you're a senior now. If you do not graduate, we can refund your money for the cap and gown.
- I am just going to wear my brother's gown--remember senior dues covers all of your senior activities. You must pay the entire amount. The gown often changes year to year, and at the end of the year, we check the graduation list with the paid list and it will be a fee owed to the school (plus the late fee added).
