• We are so excited for Prom 2021.  We wanted to share the information below to help make this evening a memorable one.

Prom 2021 is Saturday May 1st from 8pm to 11pm.  You will not be allowed to enter until 8pm.  You must leave campus by 11pm.  Please make plans accordingly.

Parking:  All students will need to park in Lots A, B, or C, which is normal student parking.  If you are being dropped off, you will use the bus lane.

Entrance:  You will enter the prom at the stairs by the gym and the blue benches.

Tickets:  There is no need to bring any paperwork.  All tickets were purchased / reserved through mypaymentsplus and we will use that information to check in all students.  You must have a picture ID (school ID or driver’s license will work) to enter prom.  If you purchased a date ticket, your date must enter and exit at the same time as the Parkview student.  Your date must also have a picture ID (school ID or driver’s license will work).

MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES.  Please make sure that you bring one with you.

Drinks will be served at the prom.

Discipline:  All Parkview students and their guests must adhere to the GCPS discipline rules.  Any one not following these rules (Parkview student and/ or their guest) will be asked to leave and possible disciplinary action may be taken.

  • This was emailed to all seniors and juniors on Thursday March 4th after 3pm.

    Prom 2021

We are excited to announce that we are planning an in-person prom for our seniors and juniors on Saturday, May 1, from 8-11 pm, at Parkview High School. Due to current COVID guidelines and recommendations, we must limit capacity to 750 tickets. Seniors will be able to purchase or reserve* their tickets on My Payments Plus beginning Thursday, March 4. Juniors will be able to purchase the remaining tickets beginning Monday, March 29. Students may purchase a date ticket for $50. All tickets must be purchased on My Payments Plus and cost $50.

*Last year, current seniors were issued a partial refund of junior dues. These students do not need to purchase a ticket but reserve one ticket through My Payments Plus, and purchase a date ticket if needed.

All ticket sales will close Monday, April 28th, at 11:59 pm, or when all tickets are reserved or purchased. All fines and fees must be paid by Friday, April 23. Information regarding fines and fees will be communicated through Advisement.

At prom, all school rules and health guidelines, this includes wearing a mask at all times, must be followed. Upon entering, all attendees will have to show photo ID.

If you have any questions, please contact Amy Farrow amy.farrow@gcpsk12.org.

We are excited and looking forward to a great night!

  • I know this school year has definitely not been normal. This school year we have decided not to collect Junior Dues. We have decided that if we are fortunate enough to have Prom on May 1st, we will give Juniors and Seniors the opportunity to purchase a ticket to attend. Juniors and Seniors would be allowed to buy 1 date ticket as always. The cost of the ticket would cover your attending Prom 2021 only. Once we receive permission from the county to advertise the ticket sales, we will let you know. Keep your fingers crossed that the second half of 2020-2021 school year will open many doors for school activities, especially Prom 2021.

Throughout the year, Balfour will be on campus to take class ring orders.  Class rings can also be purchased directly from Balfour on their website.

Balfour will be on campus Wednesday March 4th during all lunches.  You may order a letter jacket, class ring, or class jersey at that time.
