Volunteers for W-underdogs Animal Shelter
W-underdogs Animal Shelter located in Atlanta has an extensive youth engagement program where students can volunteer alone or with their parents.
They are in need of several volunteers who can go by the center fairly consistently to help with dog & cat enrichment. Duties would include making popsicles for dogs, lick pads smeared with peanut butter, working on door control and basic commands for the dogs. This similarly would apply to the cats - creating treats, engaging them with various toys etc. Also, looking for volunteers who would be willing to work with shy/ feral guys. The shelter manager would give an orientation along supplies.
Email the volunteer coordinator at volunteer@w-underdogs.org.
