General Meeting and 2021-22 Elections
A General Meeting will be held in conjunction with the STEM Night scheduled for Friday, April 30. The meeting will be at 7:00 in the Media Center. You can join via Zoom with the information below.Elections for our Executive Board will occur at the meeting. For the Executive Board, the following are on the slate:

Paul Duke STEM PTSA General Meeting
Date: Wednesday, February 17th
Time: 7 p.m. EST
Please join the Paul Duke STEM PTSA for a virtual General Meeting on Wednesday, February 17th at 7 p.m. This meeting is open to any Paul Duke STEM PTSA current and interested members (parents, teachers, and students). We will discuss our 2020 accomplishments, financial report, and 2021 initiatives and opportunities as well as approve by vote our Nominating Committee for open board and committee positions in 2021-22.
Enter the PTSA Rube Goldberg Challenge!
All Entries due by November 6th to your science teacher.
- These are fun machines to create with random things you find at home!
- To enter the competition, you create, tag and post a 1 minute video of your machine in action on Instagram or TikTok and submit it your science teacher by November 6th.
- There are 6 prizes. Three are a $75 gift card (you choose the place). Others receive cool swag like Paul Duke Beanies, Lanyard or Water Bottles.
- With 6 prizes, your odds are great for winning, and you might just learn something too.
School kits aren’t needed to build a machine, but if you’d like one for extra supplies and want to participate in the contest, please contact Ms. Eales or Ms. Desrosiers. Non-physics students are welcome to compete.
PDS Outdoor Classroom: Donations Needed
The Paul Duke STEM senior engineering students are building an outdoor classroom! The space includes 10 wooden tables, 2 metal tables, a shade structure and speaker system. Donations of any size are needed to purchase building materials. You can also sponsor an entire table! Table sponsors will have their names included on a commemorative plaque. Please DONATE and help create an outdoor classroom and club meeting space that will be enjoyed for many, many years.
PLEASE Support our teachers through TEACHER Wishes
Teacher wishes is our primary fundraiser. You can help our staff facilitate learning and engage students learning remotely and in person through a donation towards the purchase of items on their wish list. This year you can purchase a $10 classroom supplies grant for your teachers, or select from other items on the list such as books, classroom games and technology. Find your teachers using the departmental links below. The principal’s list includes the outdoor classroom, academic awards and care team needs.
