    Welcome Potential Students of Phoenix High School!

    Thank you for your interest in Phoenix High School. Students, if you are currently attending an alternative school or serving a suspension from another school, you MAY NOT register for an orientation while attending the alternative school or serving a suspension.

    Gwinnett County Board of Education Rules apply if you are suspended from school. During the term of suspension from Gwinnett County Schools you are NOT ALLOWED on any Gwinnett County School property or at any school sponsored event.

    Each new student to Phoenix High School is required to complete this pre-registration form prior to attending a new Student/Parent Orientation session. After this form is completed and the student attends an orientation, the student will receive an appointment time and registration packet. The Orientation lasts approximately one hour.

  • New Student/Parent Orientation Sessions:

    Any student interested in attending Phoenix High School as a full-time student must pre-register online to attend one of the New Parent/Student Orientation sessions in order to obtain a registration appointment.
    Plan to attend the Orientation for which you pre-registered.
    If the date that you wish to attend is no longer available as an option, select another date.
    Pre-registration Orientation dates and times will remain open as long as openings are available. Once all of the openings are taken, pre-registration will close and students must sign up for the next mini when pre-registration opens again.

     

    The remaining Orientation Dates are as follows:

    3rd Minimester - November 15 or November 29 @ 6:30 p.m.

    3rd Minimester - January 2 @ 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

    4th Minimester - February 28 @ 6:30 p.m.

  • To enroll as a student at Phoenix High School:

    You must officially withdraw from your previous home school.
    You must be at least 16 years of age AND have attended at least one year of high school.
    You must be in good standing with your current high school. (i.e. You may not attend Phoenix if you currently serving a suspension).
    Once enrolled at Phoenix you will not be permitted to re-enroll at your home school until either January or August.

  • New students will need the following to register:

    A copy of student's school records (transcript, immunization, HVD, discipline records).
    Proof of Gwinnett County residency (two forms required: a current utility bill and a lease agreement, property tax bill, etc.).
    A withdrawal form from the last schools attended (if withdrawn) or a letter of intent to withdraw signed by school counselor/administrator.
    If a student is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must accompany the student.
