PBIS Overview

  • According to Understood.org, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a way for schools to encourage good behavior. With PBIS, students learn about behavior, just as they learn other subjects like math or science. The key to PBIS is prevention, not punishment. You can read a lot more at the PBIS website. Make sure to click the link to the left to see the calendar of PBIS events at Buice Center.

  • The Clinical Team has created a video to help parents learn more about the signs of bullying and what to do if you think your child is being bullied. The PBIS Team is providing this as our parent education focus for December.
