Hispanic Organization Promoting Education (HoPe)
The mission of HoPe (hispanic organization promoting education) is to increase the graduation rate among hispanic high school students through leadership, education and community service. HoPe is a national organization and local chapters offer membership to ANY high school student. Membership dues are $20 and include a membership box that will be delivered to member's doorstep. HoPe membership dues should be paid on the official HoPe website.
We meet on the third Tuesday of every month in the Media Center. All HoPe events will be 100% virtual until January 2021.
*There will not be an August meeting, but a service event is required. (Proposed service event is poster making.)

Do you need to be Hispanic to join?
No, HoPe is open to ANY high school student!
Can you cord?
Yes, but you must meet the requirements.
Senior cord requirements (must meet at least 4)
- Must be a graduating senior
- Must have a 3.0+ GPA
- Be a HoPe member
- Attend 7+ general monthly meetings
- Completed 15+ Hours of Community Service
- Attend 75% of HoPe functions
