Knitting Club

  • About Us

    Purpose:
The purpose of the knitting club is to revive the art of knitting while providing a sense of camaraderie for the students. The students will first learn to knit. Guidance will be offered as the students knit their own individual projects. The members will work on service projects such as knitting hats for hospital infants, socks/scarves for homeless shelters, and mittens for children's shelters. Each member of the club must furnish their own needles and yarn. We have some yarn that is free for beginners to use while learning to knit.  . Experienced and beginning knitters are welcome.

Supplies needed for the first meeting:

One 4 oz. Skein knitting (worsted weight) yarn

Size 10 knitting needles, approx. 11 inches long
