Art Club
Grades: 4th graders
Meeting Days: Wednesday mornings 7:20-8:20
Cost: $15 includes t-shirt
Activities: The Art Club is established to promote a creative outlet for those students seeking additional art. Students will be creating their own art as well as working collaboratively. The group will also work towards art awareness within the surrounding community. Students will learn about painting, sculpting, and pottery!

Chorus & Orff Ensemble
Grades: 4th and 5th graders
Meeting Days: Mondays: Chorus rehearsal and Wednesdays: Orff Ensemble rehearsal
Cost: $15Activities: Harmony Chorus is a year-long program open to 4th and 5th grade students. Orff Ensemble students who are also part of Harmony Chorus will learn how to play advanced music on our classroom instruments, and they will be featured in all chorus concerts and performances. Both Chorus and Orff Ensemble handbook and information is available on the General Music eClass page.
Registration: Students can sign up for the program at the beginning of the year on Ms. Lydia Lee’s eClass page.

Debate Team
Grades: 4th and 5th graders
Meeting Days: most Wednesday afternoons at 3:30-4:20 PM.
Cost: $0
Activities: The Harmony Wildcats Debate Team promotes the ability to think rigorously and critically, and to become self-directed learners. Debate Students are given the opportunity to excel in oral and written communication and greatly improve reading comprehension through competitive debate.

Readers Rally
Grades: 4th and 5th graders
Meeting Days: Thursday mornings at 7:40
Cost: $10
Activities: The club involves reading and talking about GREAT books, quizzing with buzzers, and trying to make the competition team. The competition team will compete at Peachtree Ridge High School in March!

Robotics Club
Grades: 4th and 5th graders
Meeting Days: Tuesdays after school
Cost: $35
Activities: Students will build robots and learn how to code the robots. They will have to make changes to the robots as challenges arise. Students will learn to solve real world problems. They will get to go to a robotics competition against other Gwinnett County Schools.
Registration: Application to be filled and returned to Mrs. McElroy in August/September

Running Club
Grades: 4th and 5th graders- open to the first 50 students to register
Meeting Days: Beginning in March on Mondays and Thursdays after school and pick up is at 4:15
Cost: There is no cost for the club
Activities: Running club will participate in activities to promote overall fitness, including games, obstacle courses, and interval training with running. We will be training to run distance races-5K. Students will have the opportunity to run in local races as well as the Peachtree Jr. Race in Piedmont Park in May.
Registration: Sign-up information will be distributed in February. Students interested in the club must fill out the permission form and provide a written answer the questions on the form.

Good News Club

Meeting Days: Thursdays starting September 20th afterschool until 4:45pm

Activities: Good News Club is a free afterschool Christian Club complete with snacks, games, Bible stories, music, and fun!

i9 Sports
Grades: K-5
Meeting Days: Tuesday from 3:30 – 4:30pm
Cost: $70 for a 6 week session
Activities: Exercise and Fun! Students get to play soccer, basketball, baseball, gaga ball, flag football, etc.

Whiz Learning Kids
After School Tech Club Information: 2019-2020 flyer
Grades: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders
Meeting Days: Tuesdays, 3:15 - 4:30 pm
Cost: $85 per month
Activities: Hands on experience with a variety of technologies, including coding, 3D design animation, website design, video game design and creation , Minecraft EDU! The students will get an opportunity to participate in the Annual Scratch coding competition where they get to compete with other students in the county!
