Art Club
Grades: 4th graders

Cost: $15
Activities: The Art Club is established to promote a creative outlet for those students seeking additional art. Students will be creating their own art as well as working collaboratively. The group will also work towards art awareness within the surrounding community. Students will learn about painting, sculpting, and pottery!

Chorus & Orff Ensemble & Little Kids Rock
Grades: 4th and 5th graders
Meeting Days: Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7:20 am - 8:15 am
Cost: $10
Activities: Harmony Chorus is a year-long program open to 4th and 5th grade students. Orff Ensemble students who are also part of Harmony Chorus will learn how to play advanced music on our classroom instruments, and they will be featured in all chorus concerts and performances. Both Chorus and Orff Ensemble's handbook and information are available on the General Music eClass page.

Coding Club

Continental Math League
Grades: 2nd-5th grades
Meeting Days: During the school day in Math blocks
Cost: $10
Activities: Students will practice problem-solving skills, collaboration, and perseverance through a series of “unplugged” activities relating to coding, building algorithms, and solving problems.

Drone Racing Team
Grades: 4th and 5th grades
Meeting Days: Fridays from 7:30 am - 8:15 am
Cost: $10
Activities: The Drone Racing Team is an esports team. 4th & 5th grade students met every week. They focused on learning the skills necessary to fly and race drones, shaping students to be successful competitors and pilots. Students on the Drone Team worked together to help fellow teammates accomplish their goals and go for the win.

Girls in Engineering Math & Science (GEMS)
Grades: Kindergarten and 1st grade
Meeting Days: Wednesdays from 7:30 am - 8:15 am
Cost: $10
Activities: A group of kdg. & 1st grade girls who see themselves as a change agent or a problem-solver, a possible technology entrepreneur, engineer, or a scientist, and as a person who makes a difference. The club’s mission is to encourage girls to pursue education and careers in all STEM fields, including technology, and engineering.

Activities: The Junior Beta Club is a group of 5th grade students that promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership among elementary schools. It is a service club.

Literacy Club
Grades: 2nd and 3rd grades
Meeting Days: In January Wednesdays from 7:30 am - 8:15 am
Cost: $10
Activities: The Literary Club is a place where 2nd & 3rd grade students can meet to read and write... Club members meet to discuss books and the craft of writing. Some members choose to share their writings during the meetings, therefore starting many discussions.

Readers Rally
Grades: 4th and 5th graders
Meeting Days: Fridays from 7:40 am - 8:15 am
Cost: $10
Activities: Readers Rally is a reading quiz bowl-style competition for students in grades four and five. Students read books from a predetermined list and answer questions about those books.
The club involves reading and talking about GREAT books, quizzing with buzzers, and trying to make the competition team. The competition team will compete at Peachtree Ridge High School in March!Registration: Permission form - given to Mrs. Wileman

Robotics Club
Grades: Kindergarten - 5th Grade

K/1 - Fridays from 7:30 am - 8:15 am
2/3 - Thursdays from 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
4/5 - Thursday from 7:15 am - 8:15 am
Cost: $10
Activities: The Robotics club is a gathering of students who are interested in learning about robots and coding. The club meets weekly. The students learned the skills necessary to be hands-on and build robots. They learn to program the robots to complete various challenges. The intent of this program is to learn some basic engineering, basic computer programming, problem-solving, and scientific concepts around movement (friction, torque, force, gearing concepts, etc).

Running Club
Grades: 4th and 5th graders- open to the first 50 students to register
Meeting Days:
4th grade - Mondays from 3:20 pm - 4:15 pm
5th grade - Thursdays from 3:20 pm - 4:15 pm
Cost: $10
Activities: The running club meets weekly. They learn how to keep a steady pace running, as well as some obstacle challenges to help improve overall endurance and fitness levels. Each runner shows improvement throughout the Running Club meetings. Most importantly, they learn how to encourage each other as a team and work together to keep each other moving and running.

Student Ambassadors
Grades: 3rd grade - 5th grade
Meeting Days: Monthly meeting dates TBD

Activities: Student Ambassadors are the service-oriented leaders of the school with a focus on the community. Ambassadors are in helping with service projects within the school, providing tours to the school, helping new students, and greeting visitors at events. We will also participate in cluster and district leadership opportunities. Harmony Ambassadors are the first face of the school!

Student Council

Activities: A Student Council is a group of elected and volunteer students working together with an adult advisor within the framework of a constitution or bylaws to provide a means for student expression and assistance in school affairs and activities, give opportunities for student experience in leadership, and encourage student/faculty/community relations.

Yearbook Club

Activities: The main purpose of the Yearbook Club is to produce the school's annual yearbook. With this goal in mind, members who join the Yearbook club will be taught basic lessons in photography, writing, editing, and electronic layouts. They will help gather images from all school-related events.
