Description: Art Club is for students who LOVE art and want to expand their creativity. The club will explore a variety of media, techniques, and concepts. Members will participate in local and national art contests, displays, exhibits, and service projects. Art Club is an extracurricular activity available for 4th & 5th graders.

Crazy 8s Math Club
Grade Level: 2nd
Meeting Day/Time/Location: 5 sessions on Thursday mornings starting September 9th; 7:00am; PBL Room

Description: This club encourages kids to play with math in the most outlandish way – yelling in the library, flinging marshmallows down school halls, and tossing dozens of bouncy dice into the air!

FIRST LEGO League Challenge Team
Grade Level: 4th and 5th Selected Members
Meeting Day/Time/Location: Friday mornings 7:00am-8:15am beginning August 13th; Robotics Lab
Description: FIRST LEGO League introduces science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to children ages 4-16* through fun, exciting hands-on learning. Participants gain real-world problem-solving experiences through a guided, global robotics program, helping today’s students and teachers build a better future together.

Good News Club
Grade Level: 2nd - 5th
Meeting Day/Time/Location: Mondays beginning October 4th; 3:15pm - 4:30pm; Gym
Good News Club is an exciting, fun-filled Bible Club that meets after school, once a week for an hour and a half-complete with snacks, games, Bible stories, music, and fun.
All club members must have a Parent Permission Registration Form on file to attend. The club is adopted by a local church that provides a team of 10 trained & screened volunteers. Students will enjoy snacks, prizes, seasonal parties, high-energy songs, interactive games, and character-building stories.

Description: History Club is for students who LOVE the history of our great nation. We will “travel” through history with various hands-on activities to make history come alive for the students. At the end of our time together, students will participate in a Living History Museum.

Jr. Beta Club
Grade Level: 5th by invitation only

Description: Jr. Beta Club promotes the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership among elementary and secondary school students by recognizing and honoring high academic achievement, preparing young people for life, and empowering them to be successful, developing the leaders of tomorrow, and demonstrating the motto: Let Us Lead by Serving Others.

Description: Chess Club is facilitated by Kid Chess, Atlanta’s leading chess program for kids. Their coaches teach chess in a fun and educational environment. Children learn chess strategies and concepts through cartoons, demonstrations, and play! Regular chess, speed chess, and partner chess are just a few of the game variants played in club. Playing chess has proven to help enhance creativity, improve concentration, develop and expand critical thinking skills, boost memory and retention, and achieve superior academic performance.

Description: Students will learn to design, program, and control fully functional robotic models. They will use software to plan, test, and modify sequences of code for a variety of life‐like robotic behaviors. Club activities provide a series of real‐life scenarios, covering topics within science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Description: Student Council works together with an adult advisor within the framework of a constitution or bylaws to provide a means for student expression and assistance in school affairs and activities, give opportunities for student experience in leadership, and encourage student/faculty/community relations.
