    Description:  Art Club is for students who LOVE art and want to expand their creativity. The club will explore a variety of media, techniques, and concepts. Members will participate in local and national art contests, displays, exhibits, and service projects.

  • Chess Club

    Description:  Chess Club is facilitated by Kid Chess, Atlanta’s leading chess program for kids. Their coaches teach chess in a fun and educational environment.  Children learn chess strategies and concepts through cartoons, demonstrations, and play! Regular chess, speed chess, and partner chess are just a few of the game variants played in club. Playing chess has proven to help enhance creativity, improve concentration, develop and expand critical thinking skills, boost memory and retention, and achieve superior academic performance.

  • Good News Club

    Good News Club is an exciting, fun-filled Bible Club that meets after school, once a week for an hour and a half- complete with snacks, games, Bible stories, music and fun.

    All club members must have a Parent Permission Registration Form on file to attend.  The club is adopted by a local church that provides a team of 10 trained & screened volunteers. Snacks, prizes, seasonal parties, along with high energy songs, interactive games and character building stories.

  • Math Mania

    Grade Level:  2nd and 3rd

    Cost:  $100

    Description:  Are you ready for a MATHMAGICAL adventure?  At Math Mania, participants will build glow-in-the-dark cities by using multi-colored glow sticks to create and combine 3-D shapes, investigate patterns in nature and take a "walk on the wild side" with a 4-legged animal race, become "chips" in a giant human BINGO game, and use math skills to safely land finger-light airplanes on glow-in-the-dark runways.  Students won't want to miss a minute of the mania!

  • Robotics Club

    Grade Level:  2nd - 4th

    Meeting Day/Time/Location:  Thursdays, February 28, 2019 - March 28, 2019; 7:10am - 8:10am; Various Computer Labs and the Robotics Room

    Description:  Students will learn to design, program and control fully‐functional robotic models. They will use software to plan, test and modify sequences of instructions for a variety of life‐like robotic behaviors. Activities provide a series of real‐life scenarios, covering topics within science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. (*Students must have earned an S or E in conduct and a grade of at least 80% in Math and Science the first semester. Parents must confirm this information prior to registration.)

  • Running Club

  • STEMulate Your Brain

    Grade Level:  3rd - 5th

    Cost:  $100 for 1-hour club (mornings); $125 for 1.5 hour club (afternoons)

    Description:  Spark your curiosity, Test your ideas, Engage in hands-on learning, and Master challenges. Activities will include making fizzy rockets, programming a robot to compete in a Sphero Swim Meet, using the engineering design process to build and test a catapult for our Pumpkin Chunking Olympics, and participating in a Breakout EDU challenge where you will be required to "think outside of the box" in order to break into it.

  • Technology Club

    DescriptionStudents will have choices to focus their work in this club.  Some focus areas will be 3D design, coding, troubleshooting, and video production. Students will share leadership for the development of ideas and projects. We will develop collaboration and communication skills as a group.
