I was born and raised in Georgia. I have always had a love for children and wanting to help them learn. I am so eager to encourage all students to reach their full potential. I am very energetic, love to laugh and spread good energy everywhere I go, so to know me is to love me.

In my spare time I may watch the Georgia Bulldogs compete between the Hedges on a Saturday. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Reading books daily is necessary for me. I also enjoy baking and creating different recipes in my kitchen.

Hello Patriots! I am excited to continue serving the students and families of the Berkmar cluster. The past five years of my career were well spent at Hopkins Elementary. There, I was afforded the opportunity to work with the youngest members of our Patriots family. Over a span of 22 years, I have worked in various settings as an educator and counselor. As a counselor at Berkmar, I will strive to equip all students with the necessary tools to reach their short and long-term goals. In doing so, I encourage you to “Begin with the End in Mind” as we plan and move towards “Destination Graduation”! So, dream big, set goals, and always strive to make a difference. I look forward to working with you!

Hailing to you from the Buckeye state, Motown and the Big Apple, I am now a proud Georgia Peach!  Education has always been a part of my family life and history as my lineage embraces many educators.  I have chosen to be a life-long learner, and accept new challenges.

I have been in the field of education for approximately 20 years…working in a high school jobs program,  and currently as a school counselor.  To join Gwinnett County Public Schools, particularly Berkmar High School, has been by far one of my best choices.
