    Hopkins Elementary offers many clubs and activities throughout the year.  Clubs may run for the entire year or for a limited time, meet before school, during school or after school.  For specific information on the club you are interested in, please select from the list below.

  • Music

    Students will learn how to read music and play the ukulele.

  • FIRST LEGO League

    The FIRST Lego League club is made up of 4th and 5th grade students.  These students use science, technology, engineering, and math to program robots and solve real-world problems.

  • Readers Rally

    The Readers Rally Club is club in which students will prepare for Gwinnett County's quiz bowl style reading competition offered to students in grades 4-12.  Students read books from a predetermined list and answer questions about those books.  This helps to increase reading stamina, comprehension, vocabulary, and the love of reading.

  • Art Club

    Students will learn and use different art techniques to create art work.

    Students in grades 3-5

  • Fine Arts

    Students will meet to learn different variations of the arts, such as dance and drama.  The club will perform at various functions and events for the school and community.

  • Running Club

    The Running Club is an activity to encourage fitness and healthy living through running. It's open to all students in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. The runners will meet in the upper gym before heading out to the course. The course is a 1/2-mile loop starting around the lower field then proceeding to the black then back around to the lower field. Each practice students will have run between 1-2.5 miles.

  • Soccer

    2nd-5th grade students (no matter what experience) will learn soccer skills and play on a team! 3 Varsity High school coaches lead practices in the fall, teaching the students soccer skills with their great expertise!
