Chorus

For 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade Students:

In Jackson Elementary School’s Chorus, students will have the opportunity to learn more about music and teamwork by singing a wide variety of music together. This is the time for your students to develop their musical talents and share them with others!

Chorus auditions are open to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. The auditions will take place on Thursday, September 1st, from 3:15 - 5:30 p.m. During the audition, we will teach the students a song to perform for us. They will not need to prepare anything ahead of time. If your child is selected for the Jackson Chorus, specific information will be sent home on Friday, September 2nd.

The dues for the Chorus club will be $35 for the 1st semester and $25 for the 2nd semester. Students will stay in the music rooms for the duration of the auditions. At 5:30 p.m., students will be ready for pick up in the car rider lane.

Students who are interested in participating chorus must go through an audition   When auditions have been completed an invitation will be sent to those students who qualified.
