    Girls on the Run is a running club for girls where they learn about life skills through dynamic interactive lessons and running games.  At the end of the season the girls participate in a 5K race in April.

    Student Council is comprised of 4th and 5th grade student leaders who represent their homerooms. Student Council representatives are students who follow the ROAR expectations, are encouraging and optimistic, and will listen to and stand up for others. These representatives may already be leaders, or may show signs of being a future leader, but all Student Council representatives are students who care for others and want to contribute towards making our school a better place for everyone. Students interested in serving on Student Council should complete an application and have their homeroom teacher complete a recommendation form.

  • Readers Rally

     Readers Rally Image

    A quiz bowl style competition where students read books from a pre-determined list and answer questions about those books. Elementary school teams compete against other elementary schools in our county.  Students who are interested in joining the Readers Rally Team should stop by the media center or check the media center website for the book list. Students also need to complete a sign up form and return a signed parent letter.  The Readers Rally Team will be chosen before Thanksgiving Break. Only the team will continue to practice each Monday afternoon until the competition. Readers Rally Competition will be Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Peachtree Ridge High School. Many of the members will also meet for a Lunch Bunch Book Club in the media center each Tuesday or Thursday during the school day.
