Mrs. Caitlin Slotnick

Caitlin Slotnick (formerly Findlay) is the theatre director at Peachtree Ridge High School and she is so, so, so very excited to take on a new season at the PRHS Playhouse!
Mrs. Slotnick has a BA in Theatre and Performance Studies from Kennesaw State University and a certification in drama education from Piedmont College. She taught theatre workshops and directed children's theatre through Let's Pretend Drama, Georgia Ensemble Theatre, DramaKids and the Canton Arts Festival. In 2014, she worked at Mill Springs Academy as a drama teacher and director. She also directs shows for college students around the country during the summers through Life on Campus. Mrs. Slotnick has been working in the theatre industry throughout her entire life and has been a part of over 100 productions as a director, set designer, scenic artist, actress, tech crew member and assistant director. This is her second year in the theatre department at PRHS.

Mrs. Slotnick grew up in John's Creek on McGinnis Ferry. She started doing community theatre through her church as soon as she could walk. Theatre was her favorite class in high school and from her very first day of freshman year, she knew that the drama classroom was where she belonged. Mrs. Slotnick also teaches swim lessons in her spare time. PRHS has a very special place in Mrs Slotnick's heart because her husband proposed to her on the Peachtree Ridge stage. She looks forward to many more dramatic moments in the PRHS theatre!
