Mrs. Meg Rainwater

Mrs. Rainwater has been teaching since her graduation from Valdosta State University in December 2001. Mrs. Rainwater received her Master's Degree in Teacher LEadership from Thomas University in May of 2019. Mrs. Rainwater has experience teaching political systems, US History, World History and World Geography. Mrs. Rainwater has been on the faculty at Peachtree Ridge since the 2016-2017 school year. Currently, Mrs. Rainwater teaches in the 9th Grade Academy here at Peachtree Ridge. In World Geography we travel the world in about 90 days. 

Mrs. Rainwater was raised an Army Brat, with her 5 siblings, and attended 10 schools prior to graduating high school. She has traveled to many countries in Europe, Central America and the Caribbean. Mrs. Rainwater lives in Buford with her husband and 2 daughters. Her daughters attend schools in the Mountain View Cluster.

Mrs. Rainwater is a Student Council advisor at Peachtree Ridge and works with the Outreach sector of Student Council. These events include Trunk or Treat and Festival of Nations. Both of these events are free to the public and the entire community is welcome!
