Mrs. Amber Stallings

Mrs. Amber Stallings is a Latin and Language Arts teacher at Peachtree Ridge High School. This is her tenth year at the Ridge and her eleventh year with Gwinnett County Public Schools. She is excited about teaching Latin Levels I, II, III, IV and AP Latin as well as 9th Grade Language Arts and AP Language and Composition!

Mrs. Stallings graduated from the University of Georgia with Bachelor's degrees in both Latin and Foreign Language Education. She enjoys teaching both Language Arts and Latin, and she encourages everyone to take Latin! :) In college, she also studied Ancient Greek and Italian. Additionally, she graduated with her Master's in English Education from Piedmont College in 2013.

She attended Eastside High School in Covington, Georgia, but she currently lives in Dacula, Georgia with her husband Travis Stallings, an English and History teacher at Dacula Middle School. They have a three year old son named Finn. Mrs. Stallings loves traveling to Europe; her favorite destinations are Rome, Pompeii, Cinque Terre, and Paris. In her spare time, she loves reading, hiking, bicycling, and crafting.

Additionally, Mrs. Stallings is a very enthusiastic sports fan and particularly enjoys cheering for the Atlanta Falcons, Georgia Bulldogs, and Atlanta United FC.

Mrs. Stallings also runs Latin Club/ Junior Classical League Chapter at PRHS and she helps run the PRHS National Honor Society.
