Publix Grant Award
Thank you to our partner, Publix, that recently donated $400 to Northbrook's Eco-Warriors initiative to produce an outdoor classroom for all of our students.If you are interested in helping our school produce an outdoor classroom please support our school by going to MyPaymentsPlus and donating any amount. Students will be able to become an "Eco Warrior" in SY 21-22. -

Art Club

Students will explore different mediums, techniques, and tools while using their artistic abilities to create Art for themselves, community and fundraisers. I am looking forward to meeting each of you and creating art! Remember to be ready to possibly get messy. Chess Club
Sponsors: Ms. Westmoreland and Mr. Edwards
Chess Club seeks to encourage students to play chess to build both thinking and social skills. Although some members may be more competitive than others, we encourage “friendly” games where students help each other learn to be better players.

Drama Club

Northbrook’s Drama Club is the club for all things performing arts. We are currently seeking actors, set designers, and backstage crew. Students work towards the production of a spring semester theatre production and learn basics of theatre craft.

Intramural Sports

Target Audience:
All NMS students in grades 6th-8th grade who want to stay physically fit
When: 8:15 – 9:00 am
First Semester (8/16 – 10/22)
Monday – 6th grade
Tuesday – 7th grade
Thursday – 8th grade
Friday – 6th-8th Choice Day
Intramural activities will not take place on testing or faculty meeting days!
Students assigned to ISS cannot participate in the intramural program that day.
Intramurals is an extracurricular program. Failure to follow school rules or Intramural program policies will result in suspension from the intramural program. Misuse of the intramural hall pass will result in an AWOL Administrative referral.
Where:
Students will meet in the gym.
What to Bring:
Students should come to school dressed to participate in fitness activities. Water is encouraged. Locker rooms will be available for use after the club activities.

Readers Rally Book Club

Members will read from a list of 10 books. We will discuss, practice our knowledge of books with practice questions, and prepare for the Gwinnett County Readers Rally Competition.
