• Credit Recovery & Summer School

    • Credit Recovery is NOT NCAA eligible; School Plus is NCAA eligible.
    • Credit Recovery and School Plus courses DO NOT replace the previous class grade.
    • Students can only take one Credit Recovery or School Plus course at a time.
    • All assessments must be taken with a Mill Creek staff member.
    • Parents will be contacted by their counselor when credit has been earned.
    • All Credit Recovery courses expire 6 months after registration.

  • Credit Recovery
    Grade 50-69
    Students who have failed a core course (Math, Science, Language Arts, or Social Studies) with a final grade
    between 50-69 are eligible for our Credit Recovery Program. 
    Course fee: FREE

    Dates
    June 1-4, 2021 Session is full, registration is closed.
    June 7-11, 2021 Session is full, registration is closed.
    June 14-18, 2021 Session is full, registration is closed.
    June 21-25, 2021 Session is full, registration is closed.
    July 26-30, 2021 Session is full, registration is closed.

    • All sessions run 8am-12pm except the July 26-30 session which will run 2:30pm-5:30pm
    • Attendance is mandatory and will be face-to-face.

    Summer School

    Registration for the upcoming session is now open and closes on June 4, 2021

    • Full payment of tuition is required at the time of registration as follows:
      • GCPS Student - Retaking a Previously failed course: FREE
      • GCPS Student - Credit Recovery:  $100 for each class
      • GCPS Student - Summer School, first time taking the course:  $250.00 for each class
      • Non-GCPS Student - Summer School:  $275.00 for each class

    • Gwinnett County Public Schools will pay for up to two summer school classes for high school students needing to retake a class they previously failed. 
    • The district is offering this option to students at no cost to address COVID-related learning gaps and to provide students with an additional opportunity to earn credit for courses failed this year.
    • *Students who are taking a course at no cost and who do not log in within the first two days of class will be automatically dropped.
    • Students who wish to take courses to get ahead, or take more than 2 classes this summer, may register through our tuition-based option. Course fees are $250 per 0.5 credit.

    Students enrolled in Milestones semester 2 courses will be required to take the Milestone at the end of credit recovery.
