  • Chess Club

    Why play chess?

    There are many benefits of playing chess. Besides being fun, chess has educational value (critical and abstract thinking, planning, logic, and analysis).

    Students who play chess on a regular basis improve their ability to concentrate. Also, studies have shown that chess can help kids improve their school grades.

    Who can play chess?

    Almost anyone can play chess, though some have more aptitude for the game than others.

    Students interested in joining Robotics Club are required to complete an application. The applications will be located in the STEM lab. Teams are categorized by age. The registration cost is $5. Transportation is not provided. Space is limited.
