Dream Team Dancers

Purpose:
To provide an opportunity for children to keep physically active and dance in a fun and safe environment. (3rd-5th grades).

First Lego League Jr.

Purpose:
To teach students coding and robotics. Robotics will incorporate Project Based Learning activities that goes along with this program. This club is part of the First Team Lego League teams that the county started last year in all elementary schools.

Girl Empowerment

Purpose:
The purpose of the club is to build confidence in oneself . Topics include the following - appearance ideas, media messages, confront comparisons, banish body talk and be the change.

Girls on the Run

Purpose:
Girls on the Run is a program that helps pre-teen girls develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through dynamic, interactive lessons and running as they train to complete a 5k. The 5K will take place in April where we will all run as a team! It is a great way to teach our girls to be happy, healthy and confident.
When:
Semester 2. Monday and Tuesday 3:00pm to 4:30pm weekly.

Game Club

Purpose:
Game club will learn and play games (chess and other board games) that are challenging brain-stimulators, yet age appropriate.

Gardening Club

Purpose:
Gardening club is to teach students about plant propagation as well as creating healthy soil. This club is a part of the Captain Planet through the University of Georgia Extension Office. Students will learn about gardening and incorporate it into their lessons. Students will help plant fall crops.

Purpose:
National Junior Beta is a club that recognizes our honor students for their hard work a dedication and exemplifying great leadership skills. Students are selected based on several different components but most importantly for their academics and leadership abilities.
