• The Homebound Program is designed to serve students (K-12) who, due to a medical diagnosis, are unable to attend school for a regular academic day for ten days or longer. The homebound instructional model includes direct instruction within the home or hospital, Teleclass (high school only), and may include online classes. Homebound instruction is available for all Gwinnett County Public Schools' students who meet eligibility requirements. The referral process begins at the local school and requires a recommendation made by a licensed physician.
